Tour New Year’s in Cusco and Machu Picchu 2027

Pick-up from Cusco Airport and private transfer to your hotel in Cusco. This day is ideal for acclimatizing.

7:30 AM Our journey from Cusco to Ollantaytambo station. During the trip, we will stop to visit Chinchero, the Moray Terraces, the Maras Salt Mines, and Ollantaytambo.

Lunch in Urubamba is included for this day.

3:00 PM You must be at the Ollantaytambo station.
3:36 PM We will board the tourist train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes.
5:10 PM (approximately) Arrival in Aguas Calientes. Please go to the main square, where a hotel representative will take you to your accommodation.

Options: You can choose the Expedition tourist train (semi-panoramic) or the Vistadome Observatory train (panoramic).

7:00 AM Breakfast at the accommodation
8:00 AM Bus up from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu (Shared)
9:00 AM Entrance to Machu Picchu and 2-hour private guide tour
11:10 AM (approx.) Bus down from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes
4:00 PM Check in at the Aguas Calientes train station
4:22 PM Tourist train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo
6:00 PM Arrival in Ollantaytambo. Our driver will be waiting for you at the Ollantaytambo train station to take you back to Cusco.

7:30 PM Arrival in Cusco and drop-off at your hotel.

In the evening, you can go to the Plaza de Armas in Cusco, where thousands of people celebrate the New Year, a beautiful tradition in Cusco. You can also enjoy a live concert and fireworks. Once the new year arrives, you can walk around the entire Plaza de Armas singing with thousands of people around you. A once-in-a-lifetime experience!
