The Peru Rail company has different train services: Expedition, Vistadome, Vistadome Observatory and Hiram bingham (Luxury Train). And it has departures from the San Pedro station, Poroy station, Urubamba Station and Ollantaytambo station.
Expedition Tourist Train
This train is ideal for tourists who want to travel comfortably since it has semi-panoramic windows with decoration inspired by the Inca culture and has background music on board, it also has audio with tourist information.
The departures of this train are from the Poroy station, Ollantaytambo station and from the Machu Picchu Pueblo station (Aguas Calientes).

• The trip from the Poroy station to the Machu Picchu Pueblo station (Aguas Calientes) is approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes.
• The trip from the Ollantaytambo station to the Machu Picchu Pueblo station (Aguas Calientes) is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Vistadome Tourist Train

The luxurious train that goes to Machu Picchu Town, this train is categorized as one of the most beautiful to travel through the Sacred Valley of the Incas to Machu Picchu Town (Aguas Calientes). This train is completely luxurious as it is decorated in the style of Pullman cars from the 1920s, each one has large and comfortable armchairs furnished in polished wood and bronze.
This train has a bar car with the best Peruvian cocktails, they will also provide you with a gourmet lunch on board, and additionally it has typical dances, a live music show, a VIP waiting room at the station, and a very beautiful observatory car.
This train has departures from the Poroy station, Ollantaytambo station and from the Machu Picchu Pueblo station (Aguas Calientes).
