How to get there:
From Cusco: You can take a colectivo (shared car) or a bus from Cusco to Ollantaytambo (about 1.5 to 2 hours). From Ollantaytambo, you will have to hire a car to the farming community of Socma to take you to the beginning of the trail to the waterfall. This is a trip of approximately 30 to 40 minutes. After arriving at Socma, you must continue on foot to the waterfall.
