San Pedro train station

San Pedro station is located in the city of Cusco, 5 minutes from the historic center of Cusco and approximately 20 minutes from the Cusco Airport. The trains that leave from this station are in the morning. And this route is available from May to December and during the rainy season this station is closed.

Poroy train station

Poroy, this train station is located approximately 25 minutes from the center of Cusco and approximately 45 minutes from the Cusco Airport. This train station is operational from May to December and the Peru Rail company has departures from this station to Aguas Calientes.

Ollantaytambo train station

Ollantaytambo station is located 1 hour and 40 minutes from the historic center and approximately 1 hour and 55 from the Cusco airport. PeruRail and IncaRail trains leave from this station daily and have different frequencies.

Aguas Calientes train station

The Aguas Calientes train station is located in the town of Machu Picchu and is the final point to get to Machu Picchu. This station is open every day of the year and to get to Machu Picchu (archaeological zone) from this point you have two options.

By Bus: You can buy your bus ticket in the town of Aguas Calientes and the price is 24 dollars round trip. If you want only one way the price is 12 dollars. The trip lasts 30 minutes.

Hiking: If you want to walk from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu (archaeological site) it will take approximately 1 hour and a half and the path is completely signposted.
