Bus to Machu Picchu. One of the options to get from Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town) to the control gate of the Archaeological Zone is by bus. This bus has a travel time of approximately 30 minutes. If your arrival is at 9:00 am you should board this bus around 8:00 am. The bus is shared and the only company that operates is Consettur.

Where to Buy: The bus ticket from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu can be purchased at Cusco Av. Pardo 287 (08:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm) and at the ticket offices of Machu Picchu Town Av. Hermanos Ayar (05:30 am to 10:00 pm).
Available times:
• The bus up is available from 05:30 am to 3:30 PM you can board the bus between those times, depending on your entrance to Machu Picchu.
• The bus down is available from 06:30 am to 6:00 PM you can board the bus between those times.
